A certified hotel administrator from Miami, Florida, Daniel Vosotas has 40 years of experience as a hotel operator and business owner in this industry. By 1984, Daniel Vosotas had launched Trans Inns Management, a company he grew to 67 hotels throughout the country.

After making Trans Inns Management one of the largest hospitality companies in Michigan, Mr. Vosotas co-opened VOS Hospitality, LLC in 2012. This company specializes in offering travelers a boutique luxury experience at accommodations such as the Greystone Hotel in Miami and the David Whitney Building Hotel and Residences in Detroit’s Downtown District.

Almost 11 years later, in 2023, Mr. Vosotas started his short-term rental fund, Portara. The company offers various real estate ventures, but its flagship investment vehicle, Portara Master Fund, allows investors to invest their capital in international short-term rental villas that offer excellent returns.

In addition to his hotel administrator certification, Mr. Vosotas is also an approved owner and licensee at the Marriot, Hilton, and IHG. His professional interests outside of management include investing in real estate securities and tokenization. In his free time, he enjoys boating. He is also a Wayne State University graduate.
